Chicago’s Karat M ist typvolles, großrahmiges und im Hengsttyp stehendes Fohlen. Er wird voraussichtlich sehr (!) dunkelbraun. Karat wurde am 25.10.2025 von seiner Mutter abgesetzt. Aus der Mutterlinie sind bereits mehrere bis S*** erfolgreiche Springpferde hervorgegangen (u.a. Teilnahme am Weltcupfinale in Riad 2024 oder Teilnahme an Europameisterschaften der Vielseitigkeit etc.). Vater ist Chicago Blue VDL von Chacco Blue x Cento x Chin Chin: Chacco Blue, schon jetzt eine Legende, mit dem 3. Platz im großen Preis von Aachen sorgte der Sohn des Chambertin sportlich für Aufsehen. Die Mutter Cella führte 2013 die WBFSH-Liste der erfolgreichsten Springpferde der Welt an. Neben zahlreichen Großen Preisen, die Cella unter Ben Maher gewinnen konnte, ist der Vize-Europmeister Titel eines der herausragendsten Ergebnisse dieses Paares. Auch der Sieg im Preis von Europa in Aachen war eines der Highlights ihrer Karriere. Ben Maher beschreibt seine Cella als "eine wahre Kämpferin, die bei guter Laune nicht zu schlagen war".
