"Poco Buckin Doc Bar" is a gorgeous 2017 model buckskin gelding that goes by the name of Hickory in our barn.
Hickory is and 8 year old AQHA registered gelding that stands 15.3 hands tall and is built like a tank. Hickory is exceptionally well broke, he neckreins and side passes and has a smooth walk trot and rocking chair slow lope. Hickory has been a pleasure to have around and he does not have a bad day it seem, he doesnt shy or jump away from objects, he just stops and looks and keeps on walking like hes seen it everyday.
Hickory is a well minded gelding thats super gentle and gives you his 100% everytime you take him out.
Hickory rides great in the arena and picks up his correct leads. He has been on trail rides and rides out alone or in a group. Hickory rides the same everyday, we can let him sit a month and tack him up and he lopes off like he never missed a beat.
Hickory has been to town and traffic doesnt bother him. I think anybody can ride him whether you are inexperienced or you want to take him and show him. Hockory is very gentle and loves attention and will walk up to you in the pasture everytime. He has been exposed to different farm animals and different obstacles and doesnt mind the tarp or bouncing balls and will carry the flag. Hickory stands to be washed and bathed, stands to be tacked and mounted and rides off with spur pressure or woice commands. Hickory sells sound and with no bad habits. He has a current coggins test and is ready to move into his forever home. I hope that his new family enjoys him as much as we do.
