Nakona war allen Arten von Wildtieren wie Hirschen oder Truthähnen oder anderen Tieren wie Kühen oder Hunden ausgesetzt und wird auch überall hingehen, wo er gefragt wird. Er wurde viele Meilen in den Bergen von Ost-Kentucky geritten und stieß auf jedes mögliche Hindernis auf dem Weg. Er wird selbst die steilsten Hänge hinauf oder hinuntergehen, über tiefe Bäche, über umgestürzte Bäume und über alle Arten von unwegsamem Gelände, während er immer noch trittsicher ist. Iv had Nakona for a year now and he is our go to horse! Whenever we need one that is dependable he is the man! Nakona is easy to catch, clip, bath, tack-up, load, and handle. We have had him doing a little of everything from trails to shows to being ridden by all ages. He has been trail ridden in several states surrounding Kentucky, he’s been to fun shows on Saturday night and been on week long camping trips as well. He will flatfoot walk or he can move on out with ease. He has a natural 4-beat gait and is smooth to ride! Even for such a big horse he is an easy mover! No matter where he goes or what he does, Nakona is not spooky acting. On the trails he is always great! Nakona has been exposed to all kinds of wildlife such as deer or turkey or other animals like cows or dogs and will go anywhere that he is asked too. He has been rode many miles in the mountains of Eastern Kentucky and encountered every obstacle possible on the trail. He will go up or down even the steepest slopes, across deep creeks, over downed trees, and over all types of rough terrain while still being sure footed. He has been rode in traffic, and is very traffic safe around cars, semi, log, and dump trucks. He has a great personality and a great attitude about whatever he is asked to do.
