Beisteller (Quarter-Wallach)

I am looking for a new home (forever home) for my 17-year-old Quarter Horse gelding "Teddy" (height 1.54 m).

He is an absolute reliable horse, great to handle, has no vices, and is easy to manage.

In July 2024, we received the diagnosis of "laminitis" (coffin bone). After an injection and Duplo shoes on the front, he is, according to the veterinarian, again "usable." 
!! However, I am selling him as a pure companion horse, as I do not want to put him under the stress of being ridden anymore !! 

Due to my limited riding skills, I have hardly ridden him; since the diagnosis last year, I have only been doing groundwork and free work or going for walks with him.

He is socially compatible and rather high-ranking. He was kept in a mixed herd; currently, after moving to a new stable, he is in a paddock with three other geldings of different ages.

!! I will only give him to people who have experience with horses and especially with a laminitis diagnosis. Additionally, only to those who are willing to continue having him shod in front every 6 weeks. !!
