He is super gentle and laid back making him the perfect horse for about anybody to ride. Lariat is very well trained to ride. He neckreins, sidepasses and has a smooth walk, trot, and canter. Lariat also has a nice slow lope making him a blast to ride. You can give him time off and he will come out and ride as good as he did the last time. Lariat has been on trail rides by himself and in a group. He doesnt mind either way. He will go almost any where you point him, through water, over logs, through brush and over rough terrian. Lariat has been in heavy traiffic, down the main highway and into town. He is 100% traffic safe. We have used Lariat to check fences, move cattle and horses to different pastures. We also have pasture roped off him. Lariat is a finished ranch horse and knows what a day's work is all about. Lariat rides great in the arena and picks up both his leads every time. My 4yr old daughter loves to get him out and brush him. She can ride him around the barnyard. Lariat stands to be tacked, mounted and to be bathed, clipped and stands good for the farrier. Lariat is up to date on dewormer, farrier and had his teeth done in August. Lariat sells 100% safe, sound and is ready to move into his forever home!!
