Mercedes is an eye catching 13 year old mare with more color than a crayon box! At 14.3 hands she can easily pack anyone, big or small. Along with her drop dead gorgeous color, her good-natured personality radiates wherever she goes and grabs everyone’s attention. Mercedes goes down the trail with a level head and crosses water, logs, ditches and other obstacles with an unfazed attitude. She is easy to catch, groom, saddle, bridle, load and bathe. She also rides bareback and bridle-less! Mercedes is my go-to mount to use at the cow sale penning back, loading trucks and working gates. She has an impressive one-hand neck rein, moves off of leg pressure well and will stay collected when asked. Mercedes doesn’t have the typical mare-ish attitude, she gets along with others in the heard and has a calm, civil disposition. She is made right with clean, straight legs and is sure footed. Mercedes has been rode through town, at the lake, and even made an appearance at the nursing home to visit the residents.
