“Yogi” is a 4-year-old gelding by One Fine Vintage, making him Riata Buckle, Royal Crown, and Gold Buckle eligible. He has been started in the breakaway roping and heeling and is showing a very promising future as a competitive rope horse. He’s quick out of the corner, runs flat, and is easy to get ahead of. He’s cowy, runs to the same spot every time, and finishes with a big stop. We think he’s got big potential in the rope horse futurities! We’ve used him to brand calves, sort pairs, load trucks, and he’s seen many hard days of work as well.
Yogi is a pleasure to ride. He’s fancy broke, responsive, and dependable. When we say he’s the kind you can let sit for a month, then crawl on and lope right out of his tracks, we mean it! He’s about as gentle as they come, especially for a young horse. If you’re looking for one to load up and take to the mountains with your friends, he’s your guy.
