Bentley was born and raised in Old Mexico and proudly carries the famous Sombrero Ranch brand. If you’ve ever owned a good Mexican ranch horse, you already know. Bentley wasn’t raised to be somebody’s weekend hobby. A horse was transportation, a working partner and part of everyday life. He traveled rocky country, handled the basic ranch chores and learned how to put one foot in front of the other no matter what was ahead of him.

Creeks, logs, bridges, brush, rocks, steep hills and rough trails — point Bentley and let him handle the rest. He’s confident, sure-footed and sensible. We’ve ridden him through town, alongside busy highway traffic, carried flags, worked tarps and taken him through obstacle courses. He doesn’t need everything to be perfect before he can do his job.
He’ll walk, trot and lope circles in the arena, but Bentley’s greatest talent might be just how easy he is.
No complicated buttons.
No special program.
No riding him five days a week just to keep him civilized.
