He is very intelligent and has a gentle, pleasing personality. Watching him move all day is a joy; he is a very floaty mover with excellent conformation. Sage is a willing boy, always ready for whatever we ask! He has excellent ground manners, no vices, and requires no maintenance. He has 3 comfortable gaits, and smooth transitions. Quiet, easygoing, level-headed, and reliable sums him up. He is not sensitive-skinned, he will turn out in a large herd, and respects all types of fencing. He has a great walk, trot, and canter, side pass, backs up, and knows how to use his body. This boy is fun to ride, with a soft mouth and lots of impulsion; his work under saddle is always eager and willing to please. Sage loves trail riding! He has miles of trail experience, will cross any water, ditch, or log you encounter, and can go up or down the steepest hills. Other livestock don’t bother him; cows, dogs, sheep, goats, he makes friends with them all. He loads well and will stand patiently tied all day. With his long, flowing mane and sharply defined features, he’s a perfect model for photo shoots. This is a horse you can just get on and go. Il possède trois allures confortables, avec des transitions fluides. Calme, détendu, équilibré et fiable, il le résume parfaitement. Il n’est pas sensible, peut évoluer dans un grand troupeau, et respecte tous types de clôtures. Il possède un bon pas, trot, galop, side pass, recule, et sait bien utiliser son corps. Ce cheval est un plaisir à monter, avec une bouche souple et beaucoup d’impulsion ; son travail en selle est toujours enthousiaste et volontaire. Sage adore les balades en extérieur ! Il a de l’expérience sur de nombreux sentiers, franchit aisément toute eau, fossé ou obstacle, et monte ou descend même les pentes les plus raides. La présence d’autres animaux ne le dérange pas ; vaches, chiens, moutons, chèvres, il s’entend avec tous. Il charge bien dans le camion et reste patient attaché toute la journée. Avec sa longue crinière fluide et ses traits bien définis, c’est un modèle parfait pour les séances photo. C’est un cheval sur lequel on peut simplement monter et partir. Il reste calme pour le maréchal-ferrant et le vétérinaire, et apprécie ses moments de toilettage. Si vous recherchez un beau croisement Friesian avec un mouvement digne d’un Friesian, le voici !
