Athos vom Steinhuder Meer Rappvolltiger, geboren Juni 2023 momentan ca. 1,60m V: Azrael af Wendandi M: Juna af lille hav Athos ist ein großer, kräftiger Wallach in toller Zeichnung und einem einzigartigen Charakter. Er ist menschenbezogen, freundlich und schlau. Er kuschelt gern, ist stets neugierig und steckt seinen Kopf direkt ins Halfter, wenn an es ihm hinhält. Ich habe Athos selbst gezogen und er wächst nun bei mir in einer alters- und rassegemischten Herde auf. Altersgemäß spielt er sehr viel mit seinen Kumpels und braucht viel Bewegung. Bisher genießt er sein Jungpferdeleben und kennt gelegentliches spazieren gehen, putzen, Freilauf in der Halle oder auf dem Platz sowie Anhängertraining. Hierbei zeigt er sich mutig und neugierig: er läuft an Treckern mit großen Anbaugeräten unerschrocken vorbei, erkundet wehende Planen und geht auch ohne andere Pferde problemlos vom Hof. Bei mir bekommt er 24/7 Heulage aus Netzen und im Sommer 24/7 Weide, dazu fast täglich etwas Hafer und Mineral (Reformin Plus). Unverträglichkeiten oder Krankheiten hat er keine bzw sind mir nicht bekannt. Athos ist Tetanus geimpft und bekommt alle 7-8 Wochen die Hufe ausgeschnitten. Ich wünsche mir für Athos einen Menschen, der ihm Zeit gibt zu wachsen und ihn behutsam kopflich und körperlich auf sein zukünftiges Reitpferdeleben vorbereitet. Gern würde ich ihn auch behalten, aber ich werde ihm derzeit zeitlich einfach nicht gerecht durch meine anderen Pferde, die z.T. chronisch krank sind und daher mehr Zeit beanspruchen. Falls sich kein passender Mensch findet, bleibt Athos bei mir. Ich möchte ihm so nur die Chance auf einen "eigenen Menschen" geben, bei dem er im Mittelpunkt steht und nicht so kurz kommt wie derzeit bei mir.

He shows courage and curiosity in all these activities: he calmly passes by tractors with large implements, explores fluttering tarps, and can leave the farm alone without other horses. He is provided with 24/7 haylage in nets and, in summer, 24/7 turnout. Additionally, he receives almost daily oats and mineral supplement (Reformin Plus). He has no known allergies or health issues. Athos is vaccinated against tetanus and receives hoof trims every 7-8 weeks. My wish is for Athos to find a person who will give him time to grow and gently prepare him mentally and physically for his future riding career. I would love to keep him myself, but due to my other horses—some of which are chronically ill and require more time—I simply cannot give him the attention he deserves at the moment. If no suitable person is found, Athos will stay with me. I want to give him the chance to find his own person, someone who will put him in the spotlight and not let him be shortchanged as he is now with me.
