Der großrahmige Westfale konnte sich mit hervorragenden Runden bereits erste Platzierungen in Springpferdeprüfungen der Kl. A sichern. Tarcos Qualität kommt nicht von ungefähr: Sein Vater, der belgische Spitzenhengst Tangelo van de Zuuthoeve, war zunächst selbst international 1,60m-erfolgreich. Dank Nachkommen wie Tobago Z (Daniel Deusser) und Darry Lou (Beezie Madden) rückte Tangelo in den Fokus der internationalen Springpferdezucht. Tarcos Mutter Mercedes war ebenfalls auf internationalem Parkett erfolgreich. Mit zahlreichen Siegen und Top-Platzierungen in Springprüfungen bis zur Kl.
