Tangelo and Mr. Blue sets the rhythm – born to dance over fences

The dam, Gift of Mr. Blue, competed in international 150 jumping with the British rider Alice Watson. 

The grand-dam Praline K placed in 140 jumping and produced Fan of Mr Blue (by Zirocco Blue) in 140, and Honour to Mr. Blue (by Mr. Blue) in 145 jumping. 

The great-granddam Bosmanta produced Kosmanta (by Frühling) in 150 classes and Osmanta A (by Peter Pan) in 145 jumping classes.

Tangelo van de Zuuthoeve is a highly reliable sire of jumpers and is currently ranked 29th on the WBFSH sire ranking for show jumping, with more than 50 offspring competing at 1.60–1.70m. Some of his most successful offspring at 1.60 m include Tobago Z, Darry Lou, Hermelien vd Hooghoeve, Etalon, Calypso van de Zuuthoeve, Warrior, and Venus – and the list goes on! Tangelo himself competed at top level before starting his breeding career, passing on valuable jumping blood from his sire, the French top stallion Narcos II. He also carries highly desirable Thoroughbred blood in the second generation through the legendary stallion Laudanum xx, a legend both in sport and in international breeding.
