Joey is a stunning 7-year-old gelding with character and expression. As he can be easily spooked, he is looking for an experienced rider who can provide him with security through calmness and consistency. With the right guidance, he can develop into a wonderful partner and further his training. He is suitable for recreational riding only; he is not a competition horse. He has been ridden Western and enjoys learning new things. Joey loves groundwork and liberty work. The terrain would need some refreshing, but with patience and consistency, this can be easily managed. Joey has tested positive for MIM/PSSM2, but this is easily managed with a couple of dietary supplements and proper blanket management. For this reason, I am also looking for a stable with turnout options!
Joey is a stunning 7-year-old Paint gelding with a lot of expression and a sensitive, attentive nature. Therefore, he is not suitable for beginners. He is not a horse that simply "goes along" but one that needs trust and calm, confident leadership. Once Joey has developed trust in his handler, he becomes an attentive, eager-to-learn partner who enjoys working with his person and still has great potential for further training. Joey is ridden Western and is exclusively used for leisure riding. He is not intended to be a competition horse. He particularly enjoys groundwork and liberty work. He is curious and takes pleasure in learning new things and solving tasks together with his handler. Due to his sensitivity and skittishness, I am looking for an experienced, calm, and consistent person who can provide Joey with security. Riding in the terrain should be refreshed after a break. Joey has tested positive for MIM/PSSM2. With appropriate feeding and blanket management, this can be well managed in his daily routine. Therefore, I also wish for him to have a suitable outdoor box stall in the future, where his needs are taken into account. Anyone who appreciates a sensitive horse will find a wonderful leisure partner in Joey.
