GESCHLECHT: Wallach

Goose is the kind of young gelding that makes it awfully easy to get attached to him. He is the kind that will follow you around the pasture just because he wants to be with you, and he is always happy to see you coming. We have truly loved having this handsome boy in our barn, and his sweet personality is a big part of why. Goose is a registered 4 year old grey gelding standing 15 hands tall, and for such a young horse, he has a mind and maturity that make him feel well beyond his years. He is an absolute sweetheart, and the kind of horse that makes you enjoy the little moments just as much as the time spent in the saddle.
For a 4 year old, Goose has a really nice start under saddle and is a pleasure to ride. He neck reins around the arena, trots nice circles, and lopes smooth, even circles while picking up both leads. He has a good mind about his work and is enjoyable to ride without feeling like everything has to be a big production. We love the combination of his age, his sweet nature, and the experience he already has. He is still young enough to continue growing with his next person, but he has a good foundation to build on.
Goose is just as happy to leave the arena and head out into the world. He crosses water easily, walks over logs, and takes rough terrain in stride. He has been around heavy equipment, traffic, and dogs, and new places don’t seem to bother him. You can throw a rope off him, and he has seen a cow, too. He has some great bloodlines behind him, including Peppy San Badger, a well known name in the cutting horse world with over $172,000 in NCHA earnings. Whether you enjoy riding out on the trails, spending time riding around the farm, or simply having a good horse to saddle up and enjoy, Goose has a lot to offer.
He is just as easy to appreciate when you aren’t riding him. Goose is easy to catch and will meet you at the gate, and he loads and hauls well when it is time to go somewhere. He is comfortable living in a stall or turned out on pasture, and he gets along well with other horses while staying lower in the pecking order. He is the kind you can enjoy grooming, spending time with, and having around the barn just as much as you enjoy taking him for a ride.
Goose is a young gelding we have genuinely enjoyed getting to know and having around, and it is hard not to appreciate everything he brings to the table. He has the looks, the sweet personality, and a good mind, along with a nice start to his riding career and experience outside the arena. At just 4 years old, he has so much ahead of him, and we would love to see him go to someone who appreciates him as much as we do.

Attraversa facilmente l’acqua, supera i tronchi e affronta senza problemi i terreni accidentati.

Goose równie chętnie opuszcza ujeżdżalnię i rusza w świat.
Dobrze wchodzi do przyczepy i dobrze znosi transport, gdy trzeba gdzieś pojechać.
