Affectionately known as Boogie Man in our barn, he is a 2022 model AQHA chestnut gelding. Standing 15.1 hands and only 4 years old, this handsome guy has a solid reining foundation and is incredibly soft and responsive in the bridle. He has a nice turnaround, is easy to guide, leg broke, and is an absolutely beautiful mover with plenty of eye appeal. We call him Boogie Man!
Boogie Man is certainly not just limited to the arena! He is a proven, dependable trail horse and has been used for everyday ranch work. He’s been roped off of outside, used to sort and work cattle, hauled into town, and exposed to all kinds of different situations.
Painted Pretty has also been used for riding lessons and has a very kind, gentle demeanor that makes him enjoyable to be around, both on the ground and in the saddle. He’s patient, willing, and the type that wants to please.
We believe he would make an excellent ranch versatility or show horse. He has all the pieces to go in just about any direction while still being the kind of gelding you can enjoy out on the trails or around the ranch. He wears a full set of shoes and stands great for the farrier.
