Er hat einen süßen, sanften Blick, sein Name sagt alles, er ist ein formschöner Kerl mit einer der lustigsten Persönlichkeiten, die man haben kann, dieser Kerl hat eine Tonne Charakter. Ob in der Arena oder auf dem Trail, er ist ein absoluter Spaßvogel. In der Arena geht er im Schritt, Trab und Lope schöne korrekte Kreise. Er lässt sich problemlos an der Leine führen und hat einen schönen langsamen Trab drauf. Er bewegt sich einwandfrei an den Beinen und am Halszügel, was ihn sehr einfach zu reiten und benutzerfreundlich macht. Seine Knöpfe sind einfach und überhaupt nicht kompliziert. Porkchop hat einen schönen Laufschritt im Gelände, man muss nur die Hand loslassen und er geht dorthin, wohin man ihn führt, mit oder ohne Zaumzeug. Er wurde in den berühmten Fort Worth Stockyards geritten und war ein absoluter Heiliger bei all den Menschenmassen und dem Trubel. Er überquert alles, was sich ihm in den Weg stellt: Baumstämme, Brücken, Planen, Wasser, Gestrüpp und alles andere, was ihm begegnet. Porkchop ist allem ausgesetzt, was man sich nur vorstellen kann, und er hält es aus wie ein Champion. Bellende Hunde, Menschenmassen, Traktoren, Quads und Verkehr - er kommt mit allem perfekt zurecht. Er wurde auch schon auf der Ranch eingesetzt, um Zäune zu kontrollieren und Rinder einzusammeln. Er geht mit Leichtigkeit Hügel hinauf und hinunter. Porkchop ist ein Favorit im Stall. Er schneidet, bindet an, badet und steht für den Hufschmied bereit. Er lässt sich gut ein- und ausladen, kommt mit anderen Pferden gut zurecht, ist leicht im Stall oder auf der Weide einzufangen und ist immer der Erste, der einem am Tor entgegenkommt. He’s got a sweet kind soft eye to him, his name says it all he’s one shapey dude with one of the funniest personalities one can have this guy has a ton of character. From the arena to the trail, he’s an absolute blast. In the arena, he will walk, trot and lope beautiful correct circles. His lead departures are smooth, and he has a nice slow trot to him. He will move off of your legs and neck reins flawlessly which makes him very easy to ride and user friendly. His buttons are easy and not complicated at all. Porkchop has a nice running walk outside down the trail, just drop your hand and he will go wherever you point him with or without a bridle on. He has been ridden down at the Famous Fort Worth Stockyards and was a total saint with all the crowds of people and commotion. He will cross anything along his path on the trail from logs, bridges, tarps, water, brush and whatever else you might come upon. Porkchop has been exposed to everything you can imagine, and he handles it like a champ. Barking dogs, crowds of people, tractors, quads, and traffic he handles it all perfectly. He has also been used out on the ranch to check fences and gather cattle. He will go up and down hills with ease. Porkchop is a barn favorite. He clips, ties, bathes, stands for the farrier. He loads and unloads great, gets along with other horses, easy to catch in the stall or pasture always the first one to meet you at the gate. Porkchop is low maintenance and an easy keeper.
