Taco ist ein sehr lieber 12-jähriger Rotbrauner Wallach, ca. 1,58 m groß, auf der Suche nach seiner besonderen Person und dem passenden Zuhause. Er kennt die Grundzüge der Dressur (Schritt, Trab, Galopp und die ersten Versuche mit Seitengängen). Er kann im Roundpen mit einer Führleine geritten werden, sowohl mit als auch ohne Gebiss. Er hat bis zu 80 cm gesprungen und hat das Potenzial, noch höher zu springen. Er liebt Ausritte, sowohl alleine als auch in der Gruppe, wobei er am Hinterteil manchmal etwas kräftig werden kann. Im Sommer wurde Taco hauptsächlich als Leitpferd bei Ausritten genutzt. Wenn viel um ihn herum passiert, fällt es ihm schwer, stillzustehen. Praktische Hinweise: Taco hat einen relativ hohen Widerrist, daher passt ein Standard-Sattel nicht gut. Wir verwenden derzeit einen 16,5" Sattel, der speziell für Pferde mit hohem Widerrist geeignet ist. Dieser Sattel ist nicht im Verkauf. Sein Rambo Micklem Trense und Gebiss können optional separat erworben werden. Taco ist momentan barhuf. Bei längeren Ausritten im Gelände haben wir bei Bedarf Hufschuhe verwendet. Taco erhält einen grünen Pass. Und zum Schluss eine sehr wichtige Information: Taco liebt Karotten. For Sale: Taco !!read texst carefully!! Taco is a very sweet 12-year-old chestnut gelding he is around 158 cm looking for his special person and the right home. He knows the basics of dressage (walk, trot, canter and the beginnings of yielding). He can be ridden with a neck rope in the arena and both with and without a bit. He has jumped up to 80 cm and has the potential to go higher. He enjoys hacking both alone and in a group, although he can become strong when riding at the back. During the summer, we mainly used Taco as a lead horse on hacks. When there is a lot happening around him, he can find it difficult to stand still. If tension builds up and he is not allowed to move, he can come up in front. He therefore needs an experienced rider who can read him well and manage his tension calmly. Taco is currently not suitable for an inexperienced or beginner rider when ridden. He is a sensitive and insecure horse who needs a confident rider with a soft hand. We suspect he was handled quite harshly before coming to us, and some of this has left its mark. He is particularly sensitive around men. A man can absolutely earn his trust, but this takes time and patience. An unfamiliar man cannot simply get on him. Women and children are generally much less of an issue. This is also why we are looking for a new home for him. We normally have several different riders, which Taco finds difficult. He thrives with one or two trusted people. Taco also needs a horse or pony as a companion. He is not dominant and tends to avoid confrontation. When he first arrived, he was very intimidated by two dominant mares and spent much of his time fleeing. He has since gained confidence and can now stand his ground with horses at his level or below. A calm, non-dominant companion would suit him best. Taco is a very gentle and affectionate horse who has a lot to give to the right person. He needs a quiet, stable home where trust and a good relationship come first. Practical information: Taco has a fairly high wither, so a standard saddle does not fit him well. We currently use a 16.5" saddle specifically suited to horses with a high wither. This saddle is not for sale. His Rambo Micklem bridle and bit can optionally be purchased separately. Taco is currently barefoot. When he was doing a lot of riding outdoors, we used hoof boots when necessary. Taco will get a green passport. And finally, one very important detail: Taco loves carrots.
