For personal reasons, I am seeking a wonderful new home for my 17-year-old trotting mare. Standing at 16.1 hh, she has an excellent size and remains fully capable despite her age. In everyday handling—such as grooming, tacking up, or leading—she usually shows her sweet and uncomplicated nature. She is well-behaved at the blacksmith and loads onto the trailer without any issues. Like many mares, she has a distinct personality and can sometimes be a bit stubborn or moody. Therefore, she is looking for experienced horsepeople who can handle her typical mare moods with humor and gentle consistency. She is not suitable for beginner riders. She is looking for an experienced rider; in the field, she is a fantastic partner, rides out alone confidently, and remains unshaken. She has a pleasant, eager forward movement and sometimes picks up a faster gait under saddle. While she is capable of cantering, she prefers to trot and is not overly keen on galloping, which is typical for her breed. In the herd, she is very sociable and low in the hierarchy, making her easy to integrate into any existing group. She is flexible in her keeping: she is used to both paddock life and stable housing, with a preference for being stabled at night. I could also easily see her as a broodmare. If you are genuinely interested or have questions, please feel free to contact me. Videos riding her are available. Private sale: The information regarding her characteristics, suitability, and use is based on my personal experience and assessment; no guarantee is given regarding her future development, performance, or health changes.
