We are selling Otis as a leisure horse with sporting ambitions.
At the age of three, he came directly from Ireland into the hands of his owner, who trained him.
Alongside several sporting highlights during his training—including wins and placings in Class A show jumping and cross-country horse tests, as well as several scores above 8.0 in a number of Class A* style cross-country competitions—he impresses in everyday life with his affectionate character.
We are selling him as a leisure horse because he has not shown a reliable willingness to perform during further training at higher levels, and due to family and professional commitments.
He is ideally suited to occasional competitions at Class A–L level under good conditions. In everyday life, he is a loyal companion on hacks, both alone and in company, as well as during cross-country and show jumping training.
Otis confidently tackles all kinds of cross-country obstacles, including ditches, water, drops and more.
He has not yet been introduced to hunting, although this would certainly be something one could envisage doing with him.
An ambitious leisure rider can look forward to many wonderful riding experiences with him.
He prefers to be kept in a group and is uncomplicated in both his behaviour and character in this environment. Stable keeping with daily turnout or an open stable would suit his need for movement.
We will send videos on request and are happy to answer any further questions.
