Loughries Lotta
Tag an.

**Loughries Lotta**
Loughries Lotta was born on 15 May 2021 at the beautiful Loughries Stud in Northern Ireland.
Lotta is a beautiful dapple grey mare and currently stands at 14.3 hh. She is kind and easy to handle, late-maturing, and her HWSD status is N/N.
Lotta’s dam is JANNO SKY LADY, one of the last living descendants of the renowned foundation sire Janus (OXENHOLM MARBLE x BRANTS HAMMAR JULIE), REBEL WIND, THE FUGITIVE, WESTSIDE FRED, CHECKPOINT CHARLIE and ERRIGAL PRINCE (an extremely rare bloodline), to name just a few of her well-known ancestors.
On her sire’s side, Lotta goes back to CALLOWFEENISH VIEW (SPIDDAL PLAYBOY x QUILCA CALLOWFEENISH MARIAN), KIMBLE, DUN AENGUS, DUN AENGUS and SILVER ROCKET, to name just a few of her rare and well-known ancestors.
Lotta was entered into HSTB I in May 2024 with the Bayerischer Zuchtverband für Kleinpferde und Spezialrassen e.V.
This year, Lotta was carefully and age-appropriately started under saddle. Her kind and calm nature was particularly pleasant during this process. She has never panicked or become hectic, always remaining calm, relaxed and easy to control, while naturally going through age-appropriate growth phases.
Lotta is currently being trained as a horse for hacking and cross-country work. She loves long rides and hacking, and has been safe around roads and traffic from day one. With further training, she would certainly make a good hunting or long-distance trail-riding horse.
Lotta is safe around dogs, both with her own companion dog and without a lunge line when out hacking, and she does not panic when encountering unfamiliar dogs. She is especially gentle and friendly with children and people with disabilities.
Lotta would certainly make a good Connemara Pony for taller riders, as she is already clearly above the official pony height and is very solidly built.
I originally acquired Lotta as my final riding horse—not for the arena, but as an all-round horse for every situation in life.
Lotta is well lunged and well started under saddle in all three basic gaits. She also makes a good, confident loose jump. She enjoys groundwork and loves being pampered.
Loughries Lotta has grown up with us in a group-housing stable, an open stable and a box. It is now time for her to move to her new home. She has no vices or defects and ranks in the middle of the herd.
Lotta has received her primary vaccinations against EHV-1 and EHV-4, as well as tetanus and equine influenza. She is regularly dewormed and regularly seen by the farrier.
It should not be forgotten that Connemara Ponies are not fully grown and developed until they are 7–8 years old. Age-appropriate riding is therefore the key to many years of enjoyment with a pony! Well-cared-for Connemaras are long-lived, and reaching 30 years of age is not uncommon in this breed.

Lotta is goed gelongeerd.

**Loughries Lotta**
Loughries Lotta urodziła się 15 maja 2021 roku w pięknej stadninie Loughries w malowniczej Irlandii Północnej.
Lotta to wspaniała, jabłkowita siwa klacz, mierząca obecnie 1,50 m.
W maju 2024 roku Lotta została wpisana do HSTB 1 przy Bawarskim Związku Hodowców Kuców i Ras Specjalnych (Bayerischer Zuchtverband für Kleinpferde und Spezialrassen e.V.).
