"Chief- 5yr old 15.1H Black Friesian x Quarter Horse Cross

He’s the guy that’s made for the whole family and one that’s going to make someone an all around, reliable partner! 

Rides western or english. Has had ropes thrown off of him, drug stuff around, walked and trotted over obstacles, ponied other horses, trail rode, worked in the arena, and all kinds of other things. Truly an all-around guy that’s safe and sane with a huge personality to boot. Wears his heart on his sleeve and loves to learn new things. Because of his big personality, you always know what he’s thinking. This guy’s skillset and ability to do more is endless. He’s a one horse owner prior to us, who raised him from a yearling. They worked cattle with him and rode trails in North Dakota. They moved and couldn’t take him with them so a forever home is number one priority! 

Has never offered to buck, rear, kick, etc. He loves to lick and nibble but doesn’t bite. Will occasionally paw when tied, but will stand all day. Good for the farrier and loaded right up in the trailer. 

Absolutely no maintenance required. Very easy keeper and does well in a pasture group or stall. Has great feet and doesn’t require shoes, but we shoe all that we trail ride and he’s been on the trail quite a bit lately so he has front shoes on at the moment.

He’s the guy that’s fun to be around and always matches your energy and intensity.
